Long before supermarket soap, bars were made with tallow, and for good reason. Vanilla Ember is our nod to that tradition: a rich, creamy beef tallow bar with a long-lasting, velvety lather. We’ve scented it with fragrance oils of warm vanilla and toasted coconut, sweet and comforting like something baking on a cold evening. It’s a limited edition, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Star ingredients

• Beef tallow: a time-honoured soapmaking fat that gives a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy, conditioning feel.
• Coconut oil: adds big, bubbly lather.
• Plant oils and castor oil: for a smooth, silky wash.
• Kaolin clay and vitamin E oil: for extra slip and a soft finish.

Scent

Warm vanilla and toasted coconut from fragrance oils: sweet, golden and comforting.

How to use

• Work up a lather between wet hands
• Massage over the body
• Rinse well and pat dry
• Let the bar dry between uses on a draining soap dish. Tallow bars are naturally hard and last well when kept dry.

Saponified Tallow, Saponified Cocos Nucifera Oil, Saponified Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Aqua, Glycerin, Saponified Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Parfum, Sodium Stearate, Kaolin, Tocopherol.

Good to know

• 140–150g bar, hand-cut and cured for 6–8 weeks.
• Contains beef tallow, so this bar is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
• Contains fragrance oil. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test on a small area of your inner arm before first use, and stop using it if any irritation appears.
• No colour is added, so the natural shade of every bar is a little different. That’s part of its handmade charm.
